The Albion - PA

This historic vintage Gilded Age, Elkins Park mansion is within minutes of Center City, Philadelphia. Originally built in 1898, Elstowe Manor, designed by acclaimed architect Horace Trumbauer, became the estate of William L. Elkins. Landmark Developers acquired the asset in 2019, with approvals for a 110-room boutique hotel, distillery, conference center and a fine dining restaurant. Restoring the estate to its former glory is a passion play for Landmark Developers Founder, Frank Cretella. Adept at historical renovations and strategic repositioning of iconic structures, Cretellas Black Dog Firm, will be handling the design and construction of the massive project. Touches of the building's long and illustrious history are everywhere—from the art collection, stoic sculptures, majestic wood-paneled walls, marble columns, robust reading library, and numerous design rich cozy nooks where you can curl up with a cocktail after a long day. Today, as part of the Landmark Portfolio, the property will once again be developed into an essential part of Philadelphia’s hospitality scene. Phase 1, has commenced, and when complete will include two majestic ballrooms for catered affairs and overnight accommodations for those in attendance. Future phases include the addition of; a 30,000 sq. ft. conference center, Morgan Still House distillery, a Helipad, band shell, recording studio, restaurants, additional event spaces, 100+ overnight accommodations, and much more.
